The Alpbach Valley lies in the heart of Tyrol, only a stone's throw away from the well-known Ziller Valley. Mass tourism is not (yet) known here; tradition and a rustic comfortable atmosphere are at the top of the list. 52 well cared for kilometres of piste and 20 lift systems at an altitude of 1,000 - 2,025 m await you. Whilst pros venture down the FIS runs at the Hornboden, snowboard fans enjoy themselves in the fun park, which has a half-pipe. Additionally, approx. 50 km of tracked cross-country runs, 90 km of winter hiking trails and numerous activities ensure that there is enough variety. In the evenings the bars, restaurants and discos entice with their high-spirited après ski, partly with rustic atmosphere. Breitenbach - holiday in the heart of Tyrol!
Nestled between the soft hilly landscape and the steeply rising mountain peaks in the north lies Breitenbach, on the sunny side of the Inn Valley. Customs and tradition are looked after here, which earnt the village the "Europagemeinde" (Europe community) accolade. Restaurants und "stuben" parlours spoil with Tyrolean delicacies. The winter hiking paths around Breitenbach invite you to explore the wonderful snowy landscape. Two cross-country tracks are available - one of which even has a seal of approval, and the ski areas Alpbach Valley, Reith and Kramsach are quite close by.
