Ski holidays Fügen - pure skiing fun in Ziller Valley!

Ziller Valley, secretly called the "most active valley in the world", is situated right in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps directly bordering South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 639 kilometres of piste, 167 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all 639 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys. The valleys are all perfectly connected with the free ski bus, which allows you to fully enjoy the pistes. Fügen - pure skiing fun in Ziller Valley!

Fügen, the largest town at the entrance to the renowned Ziller Valley, consists of two centres. The cosy city centre, with its cafes, shops and restaurants bursts to life in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the cluster of hotels around the lower station of the Spieljochbahn is the site of most of the après ski. Toboggan runs, ice rinks, German curling, romantic sleigh rides, snow-sure cross-country ski runs, hotel pools, romantic horse carriage rides, and winter hikes guarantee an unforgettable holiday in white! For your accommodation in Fugen you can choose between several 3- and 4-star hotels, cosy bed & breakfasts and various holiday apartments.

Après ski
In comparison to the other lesser-known resorts in the Ziller Valley, Fügen is truly "the place to be". You'll find a wealth of après ski bars in the lively centre and near the gondola, all serving up a great "Glühwein" mulled wine or a Jagertee (tea with rum). What a great way to recover from a day of hard-core skiing! The sunshine consistently spoiling Fügen makes après ski particularly easy to celebrate. You're sure to enjoy the live music, which just may put you in the mood to spend a long evening in one of the crazy nightlife locales. If you can't bear to put away your boards in the evening, just head for a floodlit piste for a touch of night skiing! Our holiday rep will gladly organise an attractive programme (depending on weather and interest) including: (night) tobogganing, hut evenings or snow shoeing.
