The impressive massifs of both Wilder and Zahmer Kaiser form the spectacular setting for the region of Kaiserwinkl with its winter sports resorts. The region which is directly on the border to Germany has recently developed into a true winter sport paradise. In total, 30 kilometres of piste provide an attractive range for skiers as well as snowboarders. The longest of these pistes measures 7 km and has a difference in altitude of over 1,100 m! Cross-country skiers will find all types of cross-country trails on one of Europe's largest cross-country trail networks. Along with this there is excellent après ski and a wide range of leisure activities.
