Ski holidays Kirchberg - in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alps!

The legendary "Streif" world cup competition in Kitzbühel is a synonym for one of the most tradition-rich ski regions in the Alps. Spend your ski holiday on the same pistes where the world's best skiers compete every year! With a sprawling 704 km of piste, Kitzbühel's ski region offers endless skiing opportunities. In addition, the great leisure time offer, sport and society events will make your holiday in "Kitz" a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After an all-out ski or snowboard day round out the day with incomparable apres ski opportunities. Kirchberg - in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alps!

Romantically set in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alps lies the cosy town of Kirchberg at an altitude of 860 m. It could also be referred to as "Kitzbühel's little sister", although it is in no way inferior when counting the number of overnight stays. The town centre is very nicely designed and has little traffic. A small pedestrian zone invites you to a peaceful afternoon of shopping and strolling, and the town even offers some après ski with its various discos, bars and pubs. Anyone wanting to experience the fancy Kitzbühel scene live should not miss a trip to the pedestrian zone there. Kirchberg is especially ideal for families and beginners, and the new 3S gondola offers the perfect connection to the pistes.

Cross-Country

120 km of trails in the entire region ensures the cross-country skiiers also have the necessary variety! You will find 40 km of tracked runs around Kirchberg. There are heated changing rooms at two starting points. The longest run, the "Brixentalloipe", leads from Kirchberg over Brixen all the way to Westendorf and is 30 km lang. The snow-sure high-altitude run at the Thurn Pass offers a magical view of the surrounding alpine world of Hohen Tauern! A very demanding run starts directly at the Hahnenkamm and goes through to Aurach. Especially nice is the 3.5 km long floodlit trail around the Schwarzsee; perfect for advanced cross-country skiiers!
