| Due to the connection of the Matrei and Kals ski areas, the new Großglockner Resort forms the largest ski region in East Tyrol. Countless diverse runs for beginners and ambitious skiers invite you to explore on the snow-sure, seemingly borderless, lift pass. The Goldried gondola starts straight into the ski area from Matrei, and the new 6-seater Cimaross chairlift brings winter sports fans directly up to 2,621 m. A children's ski park with a conveyor belt and igloo is located directly at the summit station. Snowboarders will love the two snow parks with half-pipe, slides and jumps. Landscape features and high-performance snow-making systems make the ski region one of the most snow-sure in the Alps. The lift pass "Ski Hit Osttirol-Kärnten" included in the holiday price ensures you access to eight ski areas: Großglockner Resort, Brunnalm/Defereggental, Sillian/Hochpustertal, Kartitsch, Lienz and Obertiliach - meaning you can use a total of 334 kilometres of pistes at your leisure! |
